My assigned reading was on page 223 in Writing about Writing called “All writing is autobiography”. What I took from this is, remember when high school teachers would always nag on about how you should never use the word “I” in your papers because they was not about you. Well throughout my assigned reading the Murray argues using the word “I” in papers is okay to do. He goes on to give us evidence such as how it helps making writing more of an “autobiography”. No not the autobiography where you right about your story but the autobiographical (outline) of all texts.
