In Cisneros life being able to speak two languages benefits her in tons of ways such as in her professional life she may come across someone who doesn’t speak her first language well and is able to understand the other one. With this her communication skills are more advanced than others. Challenges it prevents is some people are not as open with people speaking different languages and sometimes the accent is so heavy it is hard to understand them.

I agree, I myself speak two languages. Communicating to people in other language can advance your skills and its very useful. Some jobs will even pay you more if you have a second language.
